Weekly Update March 4

Hello!

We are underway with our Student Led Portfolio conferences this week. Students have been preparing their work to share with their families.  I hope you enjoy seeing their reflections about their learning. Individual Learning Plans will be sent home as well. Mrs. Errington has released the Arizona State Testing for San Tan Charter school families.

I am very confident that our students will do well.

In 5/6th Grade Reading: Students have been reading Junior Scholastic articles for comprehension practice. In Social Studies students work on Map Skills in the Junior Scholastice as well.

In 7th hour Intervention we have been learning test strategies along with studying math facts and playing math strategy games. Our students had the chance to teach another class their favorite math games last week and they acted like the little experts they are. It is wonderful to see their confidence grow!

It is a sincere pleasure to work with these children each day.
